It has been a long Winter. At least five months of bare trees trunks, waking up in darkness and your breath ascending into steam clouds above your head. Finally it is April. The sun is out, the thick coats are off and the trees are blossoming.
Wednesday the 29th of March 2017 seems like a relatively innocent date. You probably had a normal day at work, maybe you had a nice lunch out or even watched a bit of telly.
Sofia isn’t a city that would be described as beautiful. Sure it sits in a beautiful location at the foot Vitosha Mountain. And yes, there are some beautiful churches and lovely parks. But mostly it is a city that hides behind a grey Socialist facade.
When I told people that I was going to Vilnius, the majority stared back at me blankly. “Where is Vilnius?”, they asked. Well my friends, Vilnius is of course Lithuania’s beautiful capital.
Time-poor travel is all about fitting in little trips alongside your busy life. Allowing you to achieve your travel goals bit by bit, city by city, weekend by weekend. I hope this blog inspires your WANDERLUST, even if you are short on spare time.
